Devon Hog Roast Spaghetti Carbonara

4-6 bacon rashers
175g spaghetti
black pepper
1 glass dry white wine
2 egg yolks
4 tablespoons double cream
grated parmesan cheese to serve

Add the spaghetti to a saucepan of boiling water until just tender. drain in a colander
Return the pan to the heat, add the chopped and trimmed bacon and fry until just beginning to crisp.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan with the egg blended with the cream, heat gently until the cream and egg is heated and remove from the heat, do not overcook, be gentle!
Serve with the grated parmesan cheese. The glass of wine? That’s for you!
